Information For Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to Frontiers and Perspectives in AI Transformation (FPAIT) should follow these guidelines carefully. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's requirements may be returned for correction before editorial consideration.
1. Scope and Originality
FPAIT welcomes original scholarly work addressing artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, intelligent systems, digital transformation, AI applications, AI governance and ethics, emerging technologies, and their implications for business, industry, society, and policy.
Submitted manuscripts must be original, must not have been previously published, and must not be simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
2. Language
Manuscripts should be written in clear, professional, and academically appropriate English. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and readability of their manuscripts before submission.
3. Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts should generally follow these formatting requirements:
-
File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
-
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
-
Line spacing: 1.5
-
Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
-
Language: English
-
Pages: Numbered consecutively
Headings and subheadings should be clearly organized and used consistently throughout the manuscript.
4. Manuscript Structure
Original research articles should generally include:
Title: Clear, concise, and informative.
Abstract: Approximately 150–250 words summarizing the purpose, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions.
Keywords: Provide 3–6 relevant keywords.
Introduction: Present the background, research problem, objectives, and significance of the study.
Literature Review / Related Work: Discuss relevant previous research and establish the theoretical or technical context.
Methodology: Describe the research design, datasets, models, algorithms, experimental procedures, evaluation methods, and analytical techniques sufficiently clearly.
Results: Present the principal findings accurately and clearly.
Discussion: Interpret the findings, compare them with relevant research, and discuss their implications and limitations.
Conclusion: Summarize the main findings, contributions, limitations, and potential directions for future research.
References: Include complete references for all sources cited in the manuscript.
5. Tables, Figures, and Equations
Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively, appropriately captioned, and cited in the text.
Figures should be of sufficient quality for publication. Equations should be clearly presented and numbered where necessary.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted third-party material where required.
6. Data, Code, and Reproducibility
Authors should provide sufficient information about datasets, algorithms, models, experimental settings, software, and analytical procedures to support evaluation and reproducibility.
Where legally and ethically possible, authors are encouraged to make relevant data, code, models, and supporting materials available through appropriate repositories and provide persistent links or identifiers.
Any restrictions on access to data or code should be clearly explained.
7. Authorship
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the work and who accept responsibility for the published content.
All authors must approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission. Guest, gift, and ghost authorship are not acceptable.
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and for ensuring that all authors are informed about the submission and publication process.
8. Research and Publication Ethics
Authors must comply with recognized standards of research and publication ethics.
Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate data or image manipulation, authorship manipulation, and other forms of research misconduct are prohibited.
Research involving human participants, personal information, or sensitive datasets must comply with applicable ethical, institutional, privacy, and legal requirements. Ethical approval and informed consent information should be provided where applicable.
9. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, citations, analysis, data, results, and conclusions of their manuscripts.
Substantive use of generative AI tools in research, data analysis, coding, image generation, or manuscript preparation should be transparently disclosed where applicable, including sufficient information to understand how the tools were used.
10. Conflicts of Interest and Funding
Authors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other interests that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the research.
All relevant sources of research funding should also be disclosed.
11. Plagiarism and Originality
Submitted manuscripts may be screened using appropriate similarity-detection software.
Authors must properly acknowledge all sources and avoid plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and inappropriate reuse of previously published material.
Similarity reports are evaluated in context rather than solely on the basis of a numerical similarity percentage.
12. Double-Blind Peer Review
FPAIT follows a double-blind peer review process. Authors should remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and other identifying information from the manuscript submitted for review.
A separate title page should contain:
-
manuscript title;
-
names of all authors;
-
institutional affiliations;
-
email addresses;
-
ORCID iDs, where available; and
-
corresponding author details.
Manuscripts that pass initial editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
13. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) submission platform.
Authors should provide complete and accurate submission metadata and upload all required manuscript and supplementary files.
14. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright and ownership of their published work.
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, permitting sharing, distribution, adaptation, and reuse, including commercial use, provided appropriate attribution is given.
15. Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for the originality, accuracy, ethical integrity, references, data, and other content of their submissions.
Submission of a manuscript confirms that all authors have read and agreed to comply with FPAIT's editorial, peer review, ethical, copyright, licensing, and open access policies.
